Case IH Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology improves horsepower, engine responsiveness, fuel economy and engine reliability, all whilst lowering emissions. This makes SCR the superior solution for Maxxum EP engines.
To ensure both power and efficiency, Maxxum EP Series tractors are equipped with a four-valve 4.5 or 6.7 litre turbocharged, intercooled, low-emission diesel engine. They supply their maximum torque at engine speeds as low as 1500rpm in all applications. Whether Engine Power Management is active or not. The engine is designed to generate maximum power at 1800 -1900rpm. Engine Power management of up to 28 horsepower means you have more lugging ability in tough conditions. We also provide you with a constant power range of up to 600rpm so work rates can be maintained with lower engine speed, less noise and more efficiency. For minimum fuel consumption, the idle engine speed will be reduced automatically by 200rpm in case of stand still and when no other equipment needs additional power.

Two-speed Powershift with 24x24 speeds in three ranges or optional, the 16x16 Semi-Powershift. Powershift takes the stress out of changing gear under load while Powershuttle is just perfect for loader work - simply flick the lever to change direction.

MAXXUM EP tractors are equipped with the Case IH Semi Powershift control integrated into the smart throttle lever to provide you with smooth, effortless gear changes. Constant high-performance supply.
A powerful fixed displacement piston pump outputs 80 l/min; quite sufficient for loading, transport and tillage operations. Maximum manoeuvrability is maintained, even when operating a loader, because a completely separate hydraulic pump delivers 40 l/min to the steering system.

Each tractor is fitted with up to 4 remotes with additional 2 to operate a LRX loade.

Give your operation a lift with an LRZ Loader
Case IH want you to reap maximum productivity from your investment. LRZ loaders are designed and built to the highest specifications using fine-grained, lightweight crane steel. The loader tower mountings and hydraulic piping are installed on the assembly line. Plus, because you can take delivery of your MAXXUM EP tractor with an LRZ loader, we have built a loader visibility panel into the roof as standard. With the new design of low-profile cab for extra-low clearances, these two are just made for each other.

The cab on the MAXXUM EP has been especially designed with a low-profile for extra-low clearances and increased manoeuvrability. This tractor knows its way around your farm.
Excellent visibility ? room with a view.
Step up into the MAXXUM EP cab and you will be amazed at the view. The doors on both sides of the cab are quite literally uninterrupted panels of glass, wrapped inwards towards the steps to provide stability and deflect noise. The lower linkage is clearly in sight and, thanks to the 4-post design of the cab, there really is an unrestricted view in every direction. The operator interface is ergonomically laid out so that every function is controlled logically and precisely. With its luxury driver's seat the MAXXUM EP provides you with exceptional comfort for a long working day.

Our surround Vision? cab combines panoramic views with the lowest noise levels to reduce fatigue and increase productivity, season after season. Maxxum EP. Unsurpassed sight lines and perfect ergonomic controls are all part of the Maxxum EP cab design. Designed with operator comfort and productivity in mind, the cab features Surround Vision with 5.87 square metres of glass and an optional high-visibility roof window for unobstructed views in all directions. Maxxum Multicontroller EP. On these models we have integrated the latest Multicontroller armrest into the seat to take the stress out of a long day in the field. All seats are fully adjustable with lumbar support and there is an option of a Low Frequency Seat with heating. The steering wheel can be tilted and adjusted telescopically so you are always sure to adopt the healthiest driving posture. Noise levels of just 71dB(A) are similar if not better than modern cars!

MAXIMISE COMFORT.The combined effect of a top quality seat, cab suspension and front axle suspension has been proven to cut vibration levels significantly and maximise driver comfort.

Maxxum Multicontroller EP models offer 2dB(A) less noise inside the cab than Maxxum EP. 3dB(A) less means half the sound pressure.
